Still Reeling were a fabulous ceilidh band who provided excellent entertainment for my Mum's 60th birthday party. They were easy to book with & provided clear communication throughout. Can't recommend them enough.  - CU - April 2024

We booked the band for our wedding last month and it was the BEST decision, a really fun and lively addition to the day. The music and dancing was enjoyed by everyone, even those who don't usually dance. The band are amazing and have dances everyone can join in with. Absolutely amazing! I hired Still Reeling for my sister's hen party and I couldn't have wished for a better night! Myself, my sister and all the guests were very impressed and had the best time. The band themselves are very talented and the caller was very patient with us! They read the room perfectly and timed the breaks well. The dances chosen were perfect and very inclusive to the ones who had never experienced Ceilidh dancing before. Couldn't have asked for better communication when booking the band too! Still Reeling Ceilidh & Barn Dance Band played for our Golden Wedding Anniversary. That doesn't mean there were a load of 'old' people at our party. They were the best Band that many seasoned barn dance people have heard. Every dance had a FULL dance floor without any encouragement. A fabulous night was enjoyed by all. Still Reeling played for our daughter's wedding at the end of April and everyone had a marvellous time. Their musicianship was excellent as were the caller's instructions (it really helped that he came out into the hall to explain and demonstrate); throughout the whole of the evening the dance floor was packed with young and old alike having a great time. The pre wedding correspondence with Mary was excellent too and she answered any questions I had. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a ceilidh band for an event  - KB

Mary and the band were great at our daughter's wedding celebration. They were friendly and professional and very flexible and adaptable. We had a wide range of ages taking part and the caller and the band were great with everyone and particularly the younger children, making sure that they could take part in the dances. It was very relaxed and enjoyable and they really contributed to a great family celebration. We'd definitely recommend them  -  SB

Still Reeling did a great set for our daughters' naming ceremony. We had the band of 4, including Paul the caller who also played and sang. It was a great mix of dances, suitable for all ages and abilities, tunes and a couple of songs too. They were brilliant at reacting to the crowd knowing when to wait for the next dance and when to push on to get dancers up. Really enjoyed the music and the dancing. Thank you x  -  TB 2022

Still Reeling were the perfect band for our event. The different band sizes on offer meant that we were able to choose the amount of instruments that suited our size and budget. I had never been to a ceilidh before but they clearly explained how it worked and what they needed to set up. The caller was great and guided the group of mostly beginner's through progressively more and more complex dances. We had a mix of ages and the dancing got everyone mixing and having fun. The band had a good sense of when to let people rest and played traditional music. Everyone had a great time and I would highly recommend Still Reeling to anyone considering a ceilidh. - SF

This band were amazing, we had a lot of young kids at our party and they did a great job of picking dances that were suitable for them and keeping them engaged and being patient with us. The were also great at communication, and super friendly. - HJ

We booked Still Reeling for a 50th party last weekend and they were fab!! They kicked the party off in style, getting guests of all ages up dancing and having super fun (not to mention good exercise!). The band were professional, friendly and great musicians. My Husband and I wanted a fun and lively reception for our wedding that everybody could join in. "Still Reeling" played a fantastic two hour ceilidh for us and our guests. All the dances were great fun and even the most reluctant of our guests felt encouraged to join in! The band also kindly provided a microphone for our speeches which was a great help. The Still Reeling Ceilidh and Barn Dance Band supplied the music for our church social. Their caller, Paul, taught everybody the dances and kept everything going. By the end of the evening some of us were exhausted!!! The music was lively and the dancing was fun but not so overwhelming that it wasn’t possible to chat with friends and strangers if we needed a rest! At the New Years Eve Ceilidh Still Reeling Ceilidh band expertly and professionally treated us to a wide range of wonderful ceilidh dance music. This is a family band and all very accomplished musician playing together. They looked just the part, dressed very smartly for our New Year celebration. Everyone was up on the floor dancing to their rich variety of jigs, reels, polkas, slides, hornpipes and waltzes. This is just the band to make any Ceilidh a success.
